[Action / Accidental (sort of) Voice]
[Backdated due to mun being occupied 8D
It's mid-morning, bright and sunny out, and Judith can be found at the edge of the river not too far from the Vesperia house, watching Jonah sit in the sand and derp around. Judy's got the journal open, her gaze shifting between the pages and her kid as he babbles away at the flowing water. It's relatively quiet and peaceful, and all seems right with the world, until the journal catches a little voice piping-]
....Shu-up!
[There's a long, extended pause, followed by a different voice entirely, one slightly ominous, as if carrying the promise of potential violence:]
Yuri.

... Man, I still can't believe the first thing out of his mouth was that. With everything I've said to him, it's kind of depressing that that was what he ended up coming out with. [Purposely avoiding saying "shut up"? Damn straight. Even if it's cute/funny/whatever, and even if he could care less about what Luceti thinks of him, he doesn't need people knowing him as That Guy Who Tells His Kid To Shut Up So Much That The Kid Started Saying It Back. Especially since he doesn't. ... Directly. Jonah, stop listening to your dad mumble to himself, dammit.
... This "no saying 'shut up'" streak won't last outside of today, more than likely.]

As long as I never run into Alexei with him around, I doubt he'll be learning that either.

It's nice to think of, though, isn't it? To imagine all of us older, still together.

I'm not a fan of imagining myself being older, but ... yeah, it's nice to think about.
[... The way he imagines things being is pretty damn far from White Picket Fences syndrome, though -- especially since the first thing Jonah said was "shut up" :|; If Jonah ends up being just like he was ... well, Judy knew what she was getting herself into. Yeah. We'll go with that.]

[Truthfully her idea of a nice family life is flying all over the world with Ba'ul, but she has no idea what Yuri has in mind, either.]

I don't like thinking that far ahead. Besides, I'm not so sure we'll even have a front lawn at that point. [Sadly, Yuri's imagination is a little limited on this front -- mostly since he can't see himself living anywhere aside from the lower quarter of Zaphias. So, naturally, he figures they'd probably end up there. Of course, he wouldn't say no to traveling constantly, either.]
